[Fürth, Germany] — [July 10, 2009] — Axinom, Europe’s leading technology integrator specializing in the Microsoft enterprise platform and Enterprise Content Management solutions, announced today the release of SILVERHD, a new solution for video-on-demand portals and online marketers based on Microsoft Silverlight 3 and Silverlight DRM powered by PlayReady. SILVERHD streamlines all processes involved in handling, protecting, and distributing premium photo and video content on the internet. The new solution helps reduce ongoing costs for managing and distributing to large audiences, while at the same time drastically reducing time-to-market and one-time setup costs.

By integrating Axinom’s Enterprise Web CMS and AxCMS.net, with Microsoft’s latest Silverlight DRM technology powered by PlayReady and Silverlight 3, SILVERHD overcomes many hard-to-solve technical obstacles in an “out-of-the-box” manner. It offers management, encryption, key generation, monetization, distribution via content delivery networks (CDNs), as well as playback on client computers using highly interactive Silverlight 3 frontends.
